Why this (unusual) approach works? This website invites you to do a couple of very unusual things, according to most modern day people.
If anybody WAS to see you, this is what could be seen:
It is safe to say that the value of all this is NOT found in its outward appearance. And yet.... I am ( together with people who see merits in Primal Living... living closer to what is natural to being a human being) so sure that if you get over the hurdle of finding this all very odd and unconventional... this time-investment proves very soon to be worth every minute you spend on it. All the activities and ‘ stuff’ used here have one sole purpose..... to process things in your inner world. To extract wisdom from your experiences, with an emphasis on those that cause difficult, not very commonly appreciated emotions.( because there is a lot of nutritional value in those... a waste to just dismiss and throw far from yourself. Why would you want to do that? Side effects of this ‘ learning from experiences’ are:
There may be a couple of reasons in this list that appeal to you. Under the bonnet Under the bonnet of your body-mind-soul system, these activities are recognised as PLAYING and RESTING. Two magical and essential ingredients in learning and development processes. Ingredients that are generally programmed in upbringing and society as ‘ non-productive’ which is often understood as ‘ not–important’. This last conclusion is far to easily jumped to. The fact that it isn’t producing anything (directly) in your outside reality does not justify it being labelled ‘ not-important’. The importance lies in supporting the inner organisation and development of yourself. In a constant focus on the outside world, experiences are not filed properly, not learned from properly and not seen enough in relation to each other. You are missing, in the long run, important connections to function to your best abilities in the outside world. Being disorganised, forgetful, stressed, not able to see the bigger picture, not being able to prioritize well, indecisiveness, scared, unconfident about your abilities..... are symptoms likely to be related to not allowing yourself enough processing time. Of course, you can rely on your mind to do all the processing on the fly, hoping for the best. But for one, if you are using your mind all your waking hours to be busy with activities with or for others, bombarding it continuously with impressions ( input) , extracting ‘ performance’ out of it simultaneously and continuously ( output) ....when is your mind supposed to have some time for all this? All processes in life follow the sequence input> transformation > output. (What is output somewhere, then becomes input in another routine) And yes, your system can do a lot of the transformation in your sleep, when you are not actively using it. The unconscious processing. But your system needs a certain amount of conscious processing too, it needs your active involvement in it too, since you are the prime decision maker. You need to make conscious decisions about yourself and your inner organisation. And.... modern day living, especially the part where looking at screens ( p.c.’s television, smart phones) are taking up so many hours of our attention ( often the hours before going to sleep), are thwarting the natural subconscious processes too, so ‘ breaks’ and ‘sleep’ are as a result of that less effective in doing this for you. So, you need ME-time, quality time alone, awake, where there is no input to actively take in from the outside world, not output to be created for the outside world. It looks like ‘ doing nothing’ on the outside. On the inside it is crucial and meaningful. Simply having ME-time, disconnecting from the outside world, allowing your system some time with itself, is already beneficial. Holistic approach Knowing how hard it seems to be for modern people to disconnect from it all and have regularly ME-time , this holistic method is supporting the system to make it as easier and effective. The easier part is the fact that there are some concrete activities involved. If ‘ doing nothing’ and ‘being alone with yourself’ is about the hardest thing in the world to do, this takes the scary rough edge of that. The effective part has everything to with this being a holistic approach. It is not just you and your mind that are doing the work ( having no real clue where to start.... what to do....). You are inviting your body to join in, applying its strengths and natural capacities by making it a varied experience for the body senses. You are inviting your soul to join in, by making it a varied experience on the levels of vibrational energy. In using (mostly) natural materials, with various textures, you are actively connecting yourself with the natural, exploring and experiencing the variations in it. In using the essences, you are actively connecting yourself with inner knowing, enhancing and focussing inner power to the transformation tasks at hand. What you need to know, what you need to decide, will become automatically more apparent to you. All the while you are being more relaxed about it, since it is feeding it to you at the ( highest) speed you can handle. This relaxed confidence is also boosted by the simplicity of the tasks you are performing. It is not rocket science to connect all the holes in an object with a piece of string. While you are making beautiful meaningful connections according to your standards, with your hands, in the simplest way, your mind is freed up to do the very same..... making new connections, by stringing the holes in your experience together in a meaningful, beautiful and simple way, in line with your highest standards. So the dichotomy is that while you consciously may not have any clue on how this transformation process is done, you ARE talking the lead, showing your whole system what you are after here. They can’t do anything else but follow your lead. The whole team is actively as one involved in the same process, which simply makes it more effective, more powerful. In focussing on a simple manual task (for yourself) that takes your full focus of the activities in your mind, you are not flooding your mind with active thoughts that need processing. Freeing up its available capacity to do the necessary as quickly and efficiently as possible. In doing all these simple and natural things, inviting your body mind and soul to work together with you, you are tapping into the built in knowledge on how ‘transformation’ is naturally done. Allowing this natural guidance in the matter to advice you, right here, right now. Where you consciously may have forgotten what self-development, learning from your experiences is about.... simply not being in the way of the natural process ( and the knowledge of the natural way is stored in every single cell of you!).... allows it to support you, naturally. regularly I mentioned earlier regularly. I’d like to clarify what I mean with that, since in modern times it could be perceived as a two week holiday away from it all in a year. When I say regularly, I mean every single day. ME-time, naturally, ideally, is part of the daily practises in a healthy lifestyle, like breathing, eating, drinking and sleeping. How frequently, how long? Once you get more comfortable with the whole concept of ME-time and playing with your experiences, your system will indicate it to you. Two fold process In using this MEATS kitchen method, you’ll see that it consist of two parts:
Both activities are representing two parts of this process as it works naturally under the bonnet. In the course of the day, experiences are gathered within you and contained in energy field awaiting further processing. You need to open this energy field up and see and feel into what is actually in there. It is in this ‘ feeling into’ that the information ( the wisdom) about ‘ what happened’ is extracted. Many things happened. They are all related, but you may not see the connections. There are holes in your understanding of its meaning and relevance to you. Your powerful system knows you, knows what is relevant and beautiful to you and can relate ‘ all that has happened’ in no-time to that and show you. Both parts of the process are important. Without the ingredients, you’ve got nothing to learn from. Without making the new relevant connections, you are not learning. Summary
